My mission is to make a change to hospital gowns. I have started a clothing company and have a patent pending on a new type of hospital gown. Rather than trying to make hospital gowns more attractive, I have started from scratch by making attractive clothes more practical than “johnnies.” If you believe in stopping a problem, you have to find a solution and act.

Such an important topic as someone who spent many days in hospitals as a child. Having major anxiety about going in for day surgery next week. I was told the change room is unisex then I will be expected to sit in a crowded waiting room with other patients in my gown until they call me. I am not allowed to wear a bra or underpants. It’s really indignifying and it needs to change. I asked my nurse if I could bring disposable bra as I am very heavy chested and she got annoyed for me asking. It’s a nightmare and I wish I could avoid this whole thing. It would be enough in the future for me to avoid an elective surgery or hospital.
