    In my prior experience with hospitalists, the most frustrating situation was coming in and asking the patient to repeat their history over and over without appearing to have seen or read a chart. Also that a different hospitalist appeared every 2 or 3 days and asked for the history to be repeated again. It leaves you feeling you are just a number to be charged a bill with no real interest. These comments are in regard to my now deceased husband’s care through several admissions. As a retired RN I expect better and know it can be done. Your insight is so spot on and appreciated.
