COVID-19 pulmonary severity ascribed to coagulation differences

Key clinical point: There are significant differences in thrombosis risk between white and Chinese patients.

Major finding: Progression to disseminated intravascular coagulopathy among whites on low molecular weight heparin is uncommon.

Study details: Observational study of 83 patients admitted to a hospital with COVID-19 infections.
